Overview
Jordan is a country with a rich religious history that is also blessed with many important Holy shrines and tombs of the Prophet Muhammad’s companions. We featured these places in our 06 Days Faith in Jordan Journey; the Cave of the Seven Sleepers. This popular site is mentioned in the Holy Quran in a Sura named Al-Kahf, or The Cave. Mount Nebo one of the most revered sites in Jordan, As Salt In and around the town are several tombs of prominent figures of Islam and of others mentioned in the Holy Quran, The castle was built in the 12th century by Usama bin Munqith, the nephew of Saladin. A fine example of Islamic architecture, Dead Sea the lowest point in the earth there is town called Sodom, which was destroyed by God because of the immoral practices of the inhabitants. Day 01: Queen Alia International Airport - Amman
Upon arrival to Queen Alia International airport, meet our office representative who will assist you in the immigration and customs formalities. Head to your hotel in Amman. Overnight in Amman
Day 02 : Amman – Seven sleepers – Mount Nebo - Amman
Visit Cave of the Seven Sleepers (Ahl Alkahf al Kahf) is a story about a group of youths who hid inside a cave outside the city of Ephesus around AD 250, he story of the Companions of the Cave s referred to in Quran. Transfer visit Mt. Nebo the place where Moses was granted a view of the promised land that he would never enter
Day 03 : Amman - As Salt (shrines and Maqamat ) - Ajloun Castle - Amman
Breakfast. Transfer to Salt city "33 Km" from Amman, As-Salt UNESCO World Heritage Site, to Balqa visit Shuaib is known to be one of the few Arabian Prophets mentioned in the Qur’an. Then , visit the Shrine of Abu Ubaidah ben Al-Jarrah, one of the ten missionaries heaven , the title of the Prophet Muhammad Secretary of the nation , where he said: Every Ummah (nation) has a trustee: the trustee of my Ummah (nation) is Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah.” , continue to Ajloun. visit a 12th-century Muslim castle situated in northwestern Jordan. It is placed on a hilltop from its high ground the castle . It was built by the Ayyubids by Usama bin Munqith, the nephew of Saladin and enlarged by the Mamluks. A fine example of Islamic architecture.Return to Amman,overnight in Amman.
Day 04 : Amman - Dead Sea – Mut’ah- Al Karak (shrines of companions) - Petra
Breakfast. Transfer to the Dead Sea which sits 400 meters below sea level. The Dead Sea is one of the most incredible places in the world. It is area at a town called Sodom, which was destroyed by God because of the immoral practices of the inhabitants. Because he was a righteous man, prophet Lot and his family were told by God to leave the town but not to look back,The sea is devoid of life. Then continue toward of Mut'ah, east of the Jordan River and Karak the The most significant and fiercest battle between the forces of prophet Muhammad and the forces of the Byzantine Empire ( Ghassanid army) Mu’tah battle. Visit shrines and Maqamat of Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) companions Zaid bin Harithah, Ja'far bin Abi Talib, and Abdullah bin Ruwahah. Continue to Petra . Overnight in Petra.
Day 05 : Petra visit - Amman
Breakfast, visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Carved in stone more than 2000 years ago Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge called Siq which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. Leads directly to the Khazneh. Famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. The site flourished during Nabatean rule from the 3rd century BC to the early 2nd century AD, when it was occupied by the Roman Emperor Trajan.
